Hi ! My Name is Hugh Dang.
Hello,
My name is Hugh Dang. I am a student at San Francisco State and is studying towards my degree in Visual Communication. I am originally from San Diego, California and has been living in San Francisco for four years now. I enjoy traveling, music, and watching videos of puppies swimming. I also studied abroad for a semester in Dublin, Ireland at the Dublin Institute of Technology learning different cultural approaches in design. My goal as a designer is to visually improve problems we face in the world through creative and innovative solutions. After learning about design in the two years I was at SFSU, I decided I want to be working as a UX/UI designer in the near future.

Influences:
I am influenced by a number of things in life, from art to social justice, I always try to find meaning and creativity in every I do. As of right, things that inspire me are the activists in our country that fight for injustice in our society. Being able to create something that changes the world positively is what inspires my choices and creativity in design.
Hopes:
My overall hope in life is to bring change into the world that's positive through what I do, regardless it being through design. In my professional life I want to be happy in the work I do as well as be okay with waking up before noon and go into something that won't make me dread the day. I hope that the work I put into this world really makes an impact on the person who sees it, as well as inspire them in any shape or form.
